Shape scholarly debates and opinions in the interdisciplinary study of the impact of new technology on international relations, government and society.

Support and train researchers and analysts in this area, with a special emphasis on integrating technological issues into political science.

Policy-oriented

Provide leadership in creating new knowledge on practical problems affecting the welfare and security of governments, citizens and private enterprises.

Influence major policy decisions and opinions in these arenas.

Network
Network-building

Create a forum for sustained discussion on the political and societal impact of technology by organizing conferences, workshops, and executive sessions with representatives from leading technology companies and public bodies.

Build active partnerships with a selection of representatives from technology companies, national governments, international institutions and external research bodies.
