CYBER STUDIES PROGRAMME WORKSHOP
(Co-hosted by the Centre for International Studies and Oxford Martin School)
A special workshop to discuss (under Chatham House rules) the scope for and content of an EU pro-innovation policy.
The Commission will publish by the summer a review of its innovation policy. What is the need? What is already in place? What more could credibly be done? These are questions of particular relevance to the United Kingdom – not only in light of the leading role of UK entrepreneurs and universities in European innovation, but also given the importance of innovation and of regulation in current political debates about the future of the country’s relationship with Europe.
The Cyber Studies Programme is funded by the European Social Fund and the Estonian Government.
