Leah Matchett is a Marshall Scholar and MPhil in International Relations at the Department of Politics and International Relations. Her research focuses on nuclear security and nuclear politics in international institutions, particularly the Nuclear Security Summit. She spent the summer as a Student Associate at the Harvard Kennedy School Managing the Atom Project, working with Matt Bunn. She also held a position as a Graduate Fellow at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where she did research on public opinion and small modular reactors in Indonesia. In the past she has worked at the US Department of State and Department of Interior. Her background is originally in geology and East Asia.
